The 870 mile / 1,400km long path provides an inspirational backdrop for future generations to come and visit one of the most popular walking routes in Wales and the UK.
Natural Resources Wales has produced learning resources based on the Wales Coast Path for educators and teachers.
The resources, activities and games link in with the four purposes of the Curriculum for Wales and will deliver many aspects of the cross curricular skills within the Literacy and Numeracy Framework (LNF) and Digital Competence Framework (DCF).
The resources will help educators and teachers to teach skills and gain experience in researching, planning, organising and promoting a major visitor destination in Wales. Example activities are:

If you take your learners to Urdd’s Llangrannog or Cardiff Bay centres, we’ve teamed up with the Urdd to create some fun and interesting resource packs based the culture, heritage and biodiversity at these two centres on the path.
The resources highlight the opportunities for those who visit the camps to enjoy the path on their visit and explore their local path when they return home.
